Dozens of people are being treated for diarrheal cases at the Mother of Mercy Hospital in the Nuba Mountains, discloses a nurse.
George Atulu, says over 20 diarrhea patients visit the hospital every day, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
He attributes the cause to consumption of unhealthy food.
Atulu suspects that meat of sick animals slaughtered for sale in the markets may also be the cause of diarrhea.
The nurse advises communities to maintain hygiene.
Atulu informs people to erect pit latrines to prevent flies from contaminating foods.
