UNFAO launches radio education program in Rumbek

United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization and its partners are launching an educational radio program for people in cattle camps.
 
The first Episode of the program, ‘Sukul Wutic’, began on Thursday at Radio Good News.
 
James Swokiri, FAO Project Coordinator told Radio Good News that project aims to create awareness educationally and livelihood activities in the cattle camps.
 
The project is targeting five counties in former Lakes State, he adds.
 
Mary Lith, Official in Ministry of Education says the project will reduce communal conflicts in the three states.
 
The Education and Livelihood Cattle Camps Project that started in 2015 is expected to end in 2018.
