Traders in Wau town complain of transport costs and other random expenses on the way though they are free from taxes.

Wol Charles Aleu, Chairman of Chamber of Commerce in Wau reveals that the state government has implemented the decision of the exemption of taxes, Radio Voice of Hope reports.

Charles says there is reduction on food items prices because of the efforts taken by traders and the government to import goods to the state.

He urges the butchers to reduce the prices of meat to 170 SSP per a kilo.

Charles asks Wau Municipal authorities to take serious steps to stop increment of prices on local products including charcoal, groundnuts and even water.
