Director urges doctors to continue working despite challenges

Remain faithful and continue working in the profession despite the challenges in service delivery, Director of St Luke Medical Clinic of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Yambio urges doctors.
 
Pastor Nicolas Kumbo Louis reveals that the Clinic is working hard to bring more medicines to help citizens of Gbudue State, Radio Anisa reports.
 
He cites current economic and political crisis as some challenges affecting buying drugs from Uganda and Juba, making it difficult for the clinic to operate fully.
 
The pastor appreciates the state government for cooperating with authorities of the health center to ease work.
 
He condemns the killing of Dr Ismail Mohamed, former Medical Director of Yambio State Hospital which has discouraged some medical officials.
 
Thomas Apuluku, medical Doctor at St Luke, reveals that the Clinic is offering services to Yambio citizens including surgeries and treating different illnesses.
 
Simon Isaac, one of the patients, testifies that he was sick from hernia and chose St Luke Clinic because of its good and quick services.
 
Louis Mathew Farasi, another patient, reveals that when a person comes to St Luke centre, he can get full medical services.
 
The patients call on governments of Gbudue and South Sudan to take quick action and resolve problems of killing innocent people in the state.
 
Unknown gunmen last week stormed the house of Yambio State Medical Doctor killed him and injured his wife.
