South Sudan Urban Water Corporation appeals to Jubek State authorities to give land for constructing a treatment plant to increase the production of clean water.
Yar Paul, Managing Director of the Corporation, says the plot if given within short time, will help people of Lologgo and Gumbo get clean drinking water to avoid cholera, Radio Bakhita reports.
Jorge Eglin, Representative of International Committee of Red Cross says they will work with the Corporation to provide clean drinking water to citizens in Juba.
He says the project will help stop cholera outbreak which has been a major issue in the town.
The officials spoke when International Committee of Red Cross was handing over tools such as pumps, generators, pipe fittings, and spare parts to the Corporation on Friday in Juba.
