The Governor Gbudue strongly condemns the killing of Medical Director of Yambio State Hospital.
Daniel Badagbu Rimbasa says the killing of Doctor Ismail Mohammed has affected people of Gbudue because he saved many lives in the state, Radio Anisa reports.
He regrets that people will completely miss his medical services because in South Sudan one doctor saves around one hundred thousand people.
The Governor reveals that the state government has directed security personnel and police to trace the criminals to face the law.
He reveals that he will visit doctors’ houses to acquaint himself with their situation and deploy police to guard them.
Badagbu consoles the medical doctors working in the state not lose hope because of what has happened, but continue with their normal work.
Dobuol Gathiek representative of doctors at Yambio Hospital says targeting killing of the senior medical doctor has caused great fear to all medical personnel in Yambio.
He calls on the government to provide more protection to the medical personnel.
Doctors in Yambio previously use to work throughout the night, even walking at night when call for emergency issues in the Hospital.
