Radio Bakhita quoted Jane Gordon asking government to consider women with small businesses in its future plans to support them raise income to cope with the economy.
She adds that women play a great role in sustaining families with their small businesses.
South Sudan Women Entrepreneurs’ Loan Officer, Alice Michael, encourages fellow females to do businesses.
She says trading does not require big qualification from school or university.
Alice pleads to the government to bring the markets closure to people to ease accessing services since crossing border to import goods from neighboring countries is hard.
She mentions high charges of visa as one of the major challenges facing women doing cross border businesses.
The members spoke during a follow up workshop on gender-based violence on Monday.
