Yei River sets free 18 SPLA-IO after detention

Yei River State on Thursday released eighteen SPLA in opposition soldiers in detention.
 
Brigadier General Chol Deng Chol says the freedom of the IO forces is an implementation of what they have agreed during the public rally, Radio Easter reports.
 
All SPLA-IO detained in the state are to be set free including SPLA soldiers in prison except those who have killed people, he adds.
 
SPLA-IO Brigadier General Yuma Sebastian says it is good to make peace among people because of the suffering of citizens.
 
He promises to put in prison persons who are against the peace process.
 
Among eighteen SPLA-IO soldiers released, three of them are captains including one female.
