Government confirms fighting southwest of Torit

SPLA Spokesperson Santo Domic confirms SPLA-IO attacked SPLA forces on Wednesday morning some fifteen kilometers southwest of Torit.
 
An eyewitness, who prefers her name not to be mentioned because of fear, says the clashes caught her when she was in Khartoum village where shootings erupted at 5 AM, radio Emmanuel reports.
 
She says her family member who is an SPLA soldier was injured during the incident.
 
Brigadier Santo Domic says he heard the information about the incident but still to confirm on casualties.
 
Imotong State Governor Tobiolo Oromo Alberio confirms the incident, but could not give details.
 
Heavy gun shots were heard in the outskirts of Torit town that causes fear to the civil population.
 
Last month President Salva Kiir declared the unilateral ceasefire to open away for national dialogue.
