Some teachers are quitting their profession due to low salary, says Principal of Bishop Abangite College of Science and Technology.
 
Vincent Valentino says recently three teachers have resigned complaining of low salary as prices keep increasing in the market, Radio Anisa reports.
 
Each teacher from Bishop Abangite is getting about five thousand Pounds, but they expect some adjustments, says Valentino.
 
He mentions lack of teachers as one of the challenges facing the College, even before his appointment.
 
Valentino promises reasonable pay next year to increase the number of teachers.
 
Head boy Joseph Bingbayo, confirms that the whole school was lacking teaching staff during the first term period.
 
Luis Genemaku Anthony, another student from Bishop Abangite College, reveals that learners were going home early last week because of no lessons.
 
Gene Maku encourages those who ran away from the College to return and continue with their normal lessons.
 
Bishop Abangite College is one of the effective Secondary Schools in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio.
