Director of Public Health in Wau directs UNICEF, Oxfam and other organizations to respond to the terrible health situations in different IDPs camps in the Municipality.
Angelo Khamis Alla-Jabu wants the NGOs to provide to the municipality a performance report within 72 hours, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
Reports of public health protection in camps is deteriorating since May, he points out.
He adds that the organizations are ignoring the rules of the municipality despite their skills in health services.
Khamis reveals that Doctor Isaac donated eight health administrators and are now working in Bahr el Shergi to improve the area.
However, Eduard Bonga, UNICEF Water Sanitation Specialist and Environmental Health, denies the claims.
He says UNICEF is putting all efforts to ensure that water sanitation is provided within camps and they are supporting water points during the year.
UNICIF has provided enough bathrooms and the team is enlightening IDPs on clearness particularly washing hands with soap after using toilets and before eating, he explains.
Bonga reveals that UNICEF is now planning to provide water to places which are facing shortage.
He says they will work together with the Municipality to guarantee health service to citizens and get rid of cholera outbreak in the town.
IDPs in Catholic Church camps last week complained about lack of humanitarian services resulting to poor health situation.
