Voluntary Civil Society Taskforce and MPs of national Parliament and Council of States on Wednesday discussed the process of the national dialogue.
Taskforce leader, Rajab Mohandis, says the forum focuses on collaborative work on the process of the national dialogue, Radio Bakhita reports.
He adds that they also provided recommendations to the concerned institutions for improvement in key development areas in the country.
The forum allows them to present their reports on the national dialogue consultations in Juba and the other states, Mohandis explains.
It is important that the voice of citizens reach leaders so that public policy decisions are influenced by what the people say, he adds.
Speaker of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly Anthony Lino Makana says MPs will be dispatched to their constituencies for national dialogue initiative.
The Voluntary Civil Society Taskforce says citizens want transparency and accountability in the national dialogue.
They demand the national dialogue to be a people driven initiative.
