BBC Media Action trains aid workers and journalists in Wau

The BBC Media Action in South Sudan on Tuesday started to train humanitarian aid workers and journalists in Wau.
 
Action Project Manager Adelmo Lumana Justo says the training is to impart skills for effective communication with conflict-affected people within the country.
 
BBC Media Action trainer says they joined together humanitarian workers and media practitioners because they are working closely and can disseminate correct information to targeted people.
 
A participant from UNHCR expresses happiness to BBC Media Action for helping media and NGOs to report accurate messages to the people.
 
20 participants from different organizations and media houses attended the training.
 
It is the second training in Wau since 2014.
 
Project Manager says they will leave for Malakal after Wau.
