Medicines Sans Frontiers or MSF urgently calls on South Sudanese and other nationals to donate blood to safe patients’ lives due to anemia and other sicknesses.

John Bosco, Laboratory Supervisor, says patients admitted to MSF hospitals need blood transfusions to save their lives, especially during the rainy season.

MSF is organizing activities in Agok and Abyei Administrative Area to encourage people to donate blood, the Supervisors says in a statement.

Bosco advises donors to provide between eight and fifteen units of blood to patients each week as a gift to help individuals in communities.
