Authorities in Tonj State say they have recovered at least three thousand guns from the hands of civilians during their disarmament process.
Madut Malik, Tonj State Information Minister, told Radio Bakhita Monday that the process has been going in the state for long.
He says civilians are cooperating with government on the activity.
Malik says some guns are not collected from the counties not yet reached.
Last month the government of Tonj State says they have disarmed civilians from six counties.
