Inter-ethnic committee calls for peaceful coexistence

Inter-ethnic committee in Yambio is calling for peaceful co-existence among the different tribes living in Gbudue State.
 
Udie Daniel, Executive Director of Change Agency Association says inter-ethnic peace awareness was recently conducted in Yambio, Radio Anisa reports.
 
It aimed at resolving issues that may cause conflicts among the different tribes, says Daniel.
 
Jimmy Cosmos, one of the community leaders says issues between pastoralists and farmers should be resolved in a good manner.
 
The five tribes of Balanda, Bongo, Dinka, Zande and Juru resolved to form peace committee after the inter-ethnic dialogue held in Yambio last month.
 
The committee was tasked to carry and work for peace among all the people in Gbudue State.
 
Change Agency Association in partnership with Safer World support the project of the inter-ethnic peace awareness.
