IDPs in Tonj lack humanitarian assistance

The Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs in Tonj say they only survive on wild fruits because they lack humanitarian support.
 
Riak Gai was displaced from Kuarjena of Wau State. He says the IDPs are also suffering from malaria due to lack of mosquito nets, Don Bosco Radio reports.
 
He calls on the government to provide food and non-food items.
 
Gai encourages those who have lost their property during the conflict to be strong in heart.
 
Another IDP, James pleads the government to improve the security situation in the area so that they can go back to their homes.
 
The sixty years old man says he is missing cultivation a lot due to the displacement.
 
Another fifteen year old girl says she does not sleep comfortably whenever she reflects on the day her younger sister was wounded during the fight.
 
The teenage recalls that she witnessed two people killed in front of her.
 
The IDPs are being hosted at ECSS Church in Tonj town.
