The cabinet in its usual meetings on Friday has approved more than eight hundred thousand US Dollars for the construction of two roads in South Sudan.
It was approved to implement the agreement signed last year between South Sudan and Ethiopia on the construction of the roads, says Michael Makuei Lueth, Government Spokesperson.
He says the Minister of Roads and Bridges made a presentation to the cabinet so that the roads of Gamebella-Pagak-Palouge and Dima-Raad-Boma-Bor are operational.
A sum of eighty million South Sudanese Pounds was also approved for the completion of housing units for the senior government officials, says Makuei.
He says fifty housing units were supposed to be constructed in Juba, but the company was interrupted by the austerity measures.
The construction company managed to build only 18 units, says the government Spokesperson.
