Action for Peace and Development Organization or APDO is training youth in Yambio of Gbudue State about democracy and its importance.
The training aims at strengthening their capacity to become self-reliance and advocate for peaceful co-existence, says Fr Jackson Bullen, Coordinator for Justice and Peace Building.
He notes that they empower youth to deeply understand democracy and how people go about it, Radio Anisa reports.
Assunta Alex from Crisco Church appreciates APDO for training the youth.
She expresses that she has now gained enough knowledge and understood the concept of democracy.
The participants call for more training.
