The Vicar General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei says South Sudanese have entered history for killing a religious leader.

Fr Zachariah Angutuwa Sebit says the killing is in history under the current government, Radio Easter reports.

Fr Angutuwa says the embassy of Slovakian and the Holy See want justice against those who killed Sister Veronica and civilians.

The Vicar regrets that some of the people killing are Christians.

Many pastors and catechists have also been killed in Yei and in other places after the murder of Sr Veronika Teresa Rackova last year.

Sister Veronica was killed by suspected SPLA soldiers.
