Equatoria Women Organization or EWO is engaging several people for a dialogue after launching a female empowerment project last week.
The three-year project aims at increasing women participation in leadership peace, building process and equal political participation with men, Radio Emmanuel reports.
Kubako John, EWO Program Manager, pledges to support women and youth in acquiring leadership skills to increase their participation in politics.
The Manager says the dialogue will discuss issues that hinder women participation in decision making including cultural believes and limited education.
He says during the dialogue, the youth, elderly, young men and women will speak freely to identify major challenges.
The state government is ready to work with Equatoria Women Organization to equip women with knowledge for better responsibility, says Johnson Sebit, Director-General of Gender and Social Welfare in the ministry of Education.
He believes having more women in politics will gives a chance for better governance.
The Director-General appeals to EWO to consider girls and young mothers who have dropped out of schools to be part of the beneficiaries.
