Demand has exceeded supply within Yei River State, says Secretary-General of Chamber of Commerce.
Radio Easter quoted Maliamungu Bosco explaining that supply is affected because traders cannot reach producers to buy goods.
Yei is also lacking importers to buy goods directly from the factories, he adds.
Bosco observes that some traders are very keen to take the advantage of the demand exceeding supply by overcharging customers.
He appeals to the state government to send their request to its national counterpart in order resolve traders’ grievances.
The Secretary-General was speaking to Radio Easter on Monday.
