Wau State government agreed to reopen roads of western and southwest counties closed for so long due to insecurity in the state.
The Council of Ministers on Thursday resolved to open roads immediately in response to the appeal of communities, says James Joseph Uyu, Minister of Local Government, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
The government will deploy some organized forces in the areas and it should not cause fear to the people, he adds.
The minister thanks the communities for trusting the government during the governor honoring ceremony last Wednesday.
The Council of Ministers did not specifically mention when they will officially start the work.
