Yei Town Council on Thursday formed a committee to control Ebola outbreak after the national Health Minister announced alarm this week.
Radio Easter quoted Town Clerk, Azariah Khemis Noah, urging the committee members after the meeting to commit to the mission given to it.
He advises the committee to consider working with or without resources as Yei is not far from DR Congo.
The Town Clerk advises the committee to work for the benefit of the people of Yei and the whole county.
Agnes Nyoka, Maternal and Child Health officer in AAH says people who are at high risk of Ebola virus are those taking care of patients and the health workers.
She cautions that Yei State Civil Hospital gates are always open and may expose the clinical officers to high risk of getting the disease.
