The enemies want to jeopardize the historical legacy of Yei as the strong foundation of liberation in South Sudan, says Yei River State Governor.

David Lokonga Moses recalls that Yei was the centre of peaceful coexistence where all the 64 tribes of South Sudan stay together before the crisis, Radio Easter reports.

The enemies use destructive ways including hate speech, suspicion, negative media propaganda, threats and killing that raise fears among civilians to destroy the heritage of Yei, Governor Lokonga explains.

The Governor was speaking while conveying his messages for the 34th anniversary of the SPLA on Tuesday.
