Inspector praises nurses and midwives for keeping people in Yei

The inspector of local Government in Yei River County appreciates nurses and midwives for keeping people from running away in Yei town.
 
Gale Ezibon Simon advises nurses and midwives to continue working because their services keep people in the town, Radio Easter reports.
 
He spoke during the commemoration of International Nurses and Midwifery Day on Friday.
 
Gale appreciates some individuals who help the government to maintain health services.
 
He notes that lack of services forced people to leave the country in search of better treatment abroad.
 
Acting County Health Director Michael Lugala Nicholas, says it is only in South Sudan that men are not midwives.
 
He calls on South Sudan to adopt the system in Kenya and Uganda where men do midwifery.
 
The two officials were addressing World Nurses and Midwifery Day on Friday at Lomuku Two Primary Health Care Unit.
