Wau community celebrates Red Cross Day

The community of Wau state Commemorated International Committee of the Red Cross or ICRC Day under the theme: ‘Everywhere for everyone’.
 
ICRC head delegation from Juba Jorge Eglin praises all those involved in their activities, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
He emphasizes on ICRC neutrality as one of the principles guiding them to do their works accurately.
 
Eglin says Red Cross movement is very strict to its laws and regulations that let them serve with sincerity.
 
Red Cross is mainly to respect and help missions display to the community, he adds.
 
The head of the delegation says they are putting a lot of efforts to make people understand the Red Cross mission in South Sudan.
 
The Day was coloured by drama, speeches from government representatives and ICRC leaders.
 
It ended with awarding of certificates to Red Cross Volunteers.
