National government sends primary teachers to Uganda for training

The Ministry of General Education and Instruction and Japan International Cooperation Agency sent primary teachers for training in Uganda.
 
The course is under strengthening of mathematics and science education in South Sudan, Radio Bakhita reports.
 
The training will help teachers to improve the quality of education and teaching mathematics and sciences.
 
Natale Cirino, National Trainer for Science in the Ministry told Journalists at Juba airport on Wednesday that they have sent over seventy teachers for the training.
 
He says two groups comprise: five teachers for sciences and eight for mathematics with the help of two experts from Japan.
 
The workshop is schedule to start today Thursday and concludes on Saturday.
 
The project aims at finalizing science and mathematics materials to be used by teachers and to be reviewed to identify achievements and challenges.
 
The final draft of the materials will be printed for trial in Teachers Training Institutions and the approved document will be distributed in August countrywide.
