Kush University operates in Nuba Mountains despite challenges

The President of Kush State University says the only four of the twelve faculties are functioning despite numerous challenges.
 
Khalid Abass says the institution is only offering now pre-university courses to students with low grades, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
 
The Faculty of Law is suspended due to lack of English lecturers, but that problem will soon be resolved, he explains.
 
The President encourages Nuba authorities and communities to support the institution because it is the future of the people in the region.
 
He adds that people should always be positive and willing to support development plans.
 
A number of students from the medical faculty express their joy of being enrolled into the university.
 
More than 240 students are admitted in different programs.
