Badur Airline to resume services in Wau

Badur Airline Company team of the Sudan agreed with the state government to resume operations to Wau town next week.
 
The agreement was revealed on Wednesday in collaboration with Gual Petroleum Multipurpose headed by South Sudan Ambassador in Khartoum, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
 
Ahmed Osman Abu Sharia, chairman of Badur Airline says their visit to Wau was to assess the airport for safe landing of their airplanes.
 
He adds that Badur Airline Company will resume its operation twice a week from Juba to Wau, Wau-Juba and to Khartoum.
 
Maroup Muorwel Ayii, Chairman of Board of Directors of Gual for Petroleum Company says they have signed memorandum of understanding with Badur Company to boost development of the state.
 
He adds that the airline will provide services with lower prices while Gual Company will tarmac Juba-Wau road and highways connecting other states.
 
David John Ponis, Wau State Minister of Information, welcomes the visit and the steps taken by the two companies.
 
He asks the national government to open Sudan Consulate Office in Wau.
 
The presence of the Consulate in Wau will facilitate traveling process to Khartoum for treatment and business, the minister notes.
 
Badur Airline has been operating from Wau to Khartoum, but stopped its operation after the independence of South Sudan in 2011.
