The great run money will used to buy food, says Ambassador

The money collected from the first stage of the fundraising event would be used to import food stuffs.
 
A Spokesperson of the great run South Sudan Ambassador John Andruga Duku says during Radio Bakhita’s wake up Juba show on Tuesday that the initiative will go through Bank of South Sudan to assign a businessman to bring food.
 
He says when the food arrives; there will be assessment to see which areas are in dire needs of food assistance.
 
Ambassador Andruga appeals to all institutions, organizations and individuals that pledged during the first South Sudan’s great run for hunger to fulfill their promises.
 
According to a press release, the first great run realized over two hundred seven thousand and nine hundred-forty one US dollars.
 
Two hundred five thousand US dollars is still not made.
