The Governor of Yei River State reveals on Saturday that the European government has agreed to pay teachers in US Dollars
David Lokonga Moses says the payment of the teachers in the hard currency will boost the education sector in the country, Radio Easter reports.
He urges youth to stop criminal activities and embark on education because the future belongs to them.
Governor Lokonga says he will deploy police in the cultivation area five miles around the town to ensure the security of the farmers is guaranteed.
There have been cases of people who were killed by armed men while cultivating.
