The Catholic Diocese of Tombura/Yambio is conducting internal rapid assessment in eleven parishes.
Radio Anisa quoted Victor Nyoko, assessment team leader, saying the exercise is to provide the general idea of the people living in different parts of the diocese.
He adds that the aim of the assessment is also to get the needs of the people at the grassroots.
Nyoko notes that the study will help the diocese to have a clear picture of what is happening in terms of education, food security, health and the rate of HIV/AIDS.
He calls upon the community in Tombura/Yambio Catholic Diocese to support each other and cooperate with the teams visiting their areas.
