The Daughters of Mary Immaculate or MDI on Wednesday opened a new training center in Juba to offer various courses to communities.
Sister Jenny Maila, MDI Program Coordinator, says the institution will train those with primary and secondary leaving certificates to become teachers, Radio Bakhita reports.
She says the institution will start operating next week.
Secretary-General of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba Fr Noel Nyombe Santo, says the institute will also train people more about the faith.
The head of Gurei village says thanks DMI for setting up the institution in the area.
He urges Church institutions to do more in order to help the communities in Juba.
Rina Oliver, one of the participants, expresses happiness that opening a new training institute in the area is a good opportunity for her to learn.
