The Chairperson of South Sudan Civil Society Alliance says he has dismissed two of the executive members last month.

Akuoch Ajang Nyanhom told press on Thursday that he sacked Keluel Agot, Secretary-General and Chol Majur, Secretary for Service Development, Radio Bakhita reports.

He accuses the two of conducting meetings when he was out of the office.

Ajang says the two members were dismissed based on the constitution of the Alliance.

The Chairperson says the dismissed members can participate as normal members in the Alliance, but not in executive body.

He pledges to continue serving as the leader of Alliance until election is held.

Radio Bakhita could not reach the two members for comments.

Last month, Keluel Agot said the money Alliance obtained from donors has often been diverted to private accounts.

He accused the chairperson of the organization for mismanaging the funds of the Alliance.

But, the chairperson has dismissed the claims as baseless.
