Many people with sight problems could not undergo operation in Mother of Mercy Hospital in the Nuba Mountains.
Dauod Ibied, an eye patient from Western part of Nuba Mountains, says he has been at the hospital under a tree waiting for treatment for more than twenty days, Voice of Peace Radio, reports.
Another 77-year-old eye patient, Kaltum Abdullah, says she was told to come to the hospital in November for the operation.
Joseph Makuwasi, Hospital Administrator, says it may not be possible to operate them because the hospital lacks key medical equipments.
He recalls that Mother of Mercy Hospital has never encounter such challenges before.
The administrator advises patients not to lose hope.
Many people with eye conditions went back home without surgery.
