Yei River State on Friday briefed humanitarian agencies that the security situation in the whole state is calm with other incidents recorded.

Governor David Lokonga Moses says there were no offences committed by the government, Radio Easter reports.

There were also no serious clashes between the SPLA and the armed groups, he adds.

Governor Lokonga says the state government and the opposition signed one agreement and a number of issues discussed in a dialogue.

He says the opposition groups that signed the agreement are not happy with the situation the refugees are facing.

The groups recognized the great suffering of civilians in camps, Governor Lokonga acknowledges.
