Rebellion in South Sudan inherited, says Presidency

The Presidential Press Secretary says the current rebellion in the country is an inherited from the liberation struggle in the Sudan.
 
Ateny Wek Ateny says it is important that the two countries work closely to ensure that no armed opposition exists in the sisterly countries.
 
He believes the two countries can understand themselves better than any other nation.
 
Wek says South Sudan is not supporting any armed opposition group fighting Sudan because it is a sisterly country.
 
He says South Sudan could play a role in bringing peace to the Sudan when asked.
 
The Press Secretary was responding to Khartoum accusation that South Sudan is supporting opposition groups in Sudan.
