A community in Reqefee of Omdullu Payam in the Nuba Mountains held a ceremony on Saturday to remember their fallen heroes including Mubarak al Masha.
The ceremony was to remind the youth of their cultural and traditional values, Radio Voice of Peace reports.
Reqefee Mayor, Arun Suleiman, says the feast was to remember all those who died in the liberation struggle of the region.
Omdullu Payam Executive Director, Youana al Mafue, explains that the late had struggled for the good of all people of Nuba Mountains.
He urges people not to forget such slain leaders because they opened for them the way.
Hundreds of people attended that ceremony to remember the late with different forms of games and dances.
