There are no midwifery services for women, complains the leader of the internally displaced persons in Melijo camp of Nimule County.

Abraham Thon Kurjack says pregnant mothers get difficulties while giving birth because the camp is far from Nimule town, Radio Emmanuel reports.

Dr Ezbone William Apari, Caritas Torit Health Coordinator, says his organization provides outreach health services in both the host community and Melijo camp including midwifery.

Melijo IDPs camp is approximately 18 kilometers from Nimule County Hospital.
