The Parish Priest of Christ the King is asking God to provide rain for the people to cultivate in Yei and the whole country despite insecurity.
Fr Tom Poru Martin says there is no rain in Yei which has stopped the people from cultivation up to now, Radio Easter reports.
Though the people are not accessing their farms, they will cultivate where they are, he adds.
He reminds the congregation that God will not forget his people
The priest asks God to change the hearts of those who rob people’s property and advises couples to stick to their marriage during this tough time of temptation.
Fr Tom made the remarks during the Baptism of over 20 infants at Christ the King Cathedral on Tuesday.
