Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO in collaboration with CORDAID on Tuesday trained traditional chiefs of Jubek State on gender-base violence.

She says traditional leaders will be able to coordinate with authorities to understand what is happening.
Chief John Andrea Tombe of Ngangala Boma in Lirya County says there are many challenges facing them.
He calls on the state government to deployed police to counties.
CEPO Executive Director Edmond Yakani says the training will give more knowledge to the chiefs.
The training that concluded on Wednesday, brought together about 20 chiefs from all counties of Jubek State.
