The Acting Governor of Wau on Monday morning issued a gubernatorial order declaring night curfew in the state starting from nine PM to six AM.
Anthony Charles Nberende said the order is to improve security situation in the town, Radio Voice of Hope reports.
He directed all the people to abide by the order and stay in their houses at the mentioned time.
The Acting Governor added that the people who will walk during night are only patrolling forces supervised by the security committee of the state.
Nberende also prevented all the organize forces from moving with guns in the town.
He directed all the security agents and local authorities of Wau Municipality to implement the order.
