A man accused of exchanging fake dollars to South Sudanese Pounds in Rumbek market denied evolvement in any money deal.
Suleiman Jaafar says a man dealing with dollars exchange came to his shop on March 27 at 10:00 AM and sold to him fake dollars before he noticed, Radio Good News reports.
The accused man says the complainer mistakenly arrested him, but he has never been involved in exchanging dollars .
He adds that the police caught him when he was coming out from the clinic with medicines.
He expresses readiness to take swear.
Western Lakes Police Spokesperson Captain Elijah Mabor Makuac says the case will be forwarded to the court after investigation.
Early April, police seize over one thousand fake dollars of fifty and one hundred notes in Rumbek market.
