The inter-state peace conference bringing together intellectuals and authorities of Tonj, Gok and Wau States began on Wednesday in Tonj Town.
The main objective of the conference is to address security, cattle theft and free movement of citizens among the three states, says Akec Tong Aleu, Governor of Tonj State, Radio Don Bosco reports.
Gok Governor Madhang Majok reveals that he struggle to realize calm and minimize the cattle theft in the state.
Now in Gok State people can move freely, he adds.
Wau State Adviser says the inter-state peace conference will bring positive results in Bahr el Ghazal region.
The leaders made the comments during the opening session of the peace meeting in Tonj.
