Tobiolo Alberio Oromo in his closing remarks during a two-day Torit peace forum on Thursday, said the hunger can only be controlled if people farm, Radio Emmanuel reports.
The Governor encourages the citizens to always expressing their opinions to help the government and send their grievances through church leaders.
Alberio was reacting after some members during the peace forum mentioned fear of expression of their opinions as one of the causes of conflict in their communities.

He says South Sudanese will only be able to end the current sufferings when peace is attained.
The two-day peace forum that prepares ways for the national dialogue, resolved that communities should frequently hold dialogue with neighboring villages to enhance access to farming.
The forum also discouraged movement of soldiers with guns in the town and encouraged free walking and expression of opinions.
