St Monica Women leader is imparting tailoring skills to a group of women living with leprosy at Malou-Kuelkuach of Rumbek.

Sister Mary Mumu Pora on Wednesday told Radio Good News that leper-women training is to empower them despite their physical challenges.

The training is challenging, but the women need to be helped so that they do not feel isolated in communities, she notes.

Sister Mumu discloses that she has trained fifteen other leper-women to mend dresses, read and write, build peace and participate in human development.

The Sister on Tuesday supervised women centers of Pachong and Maleng Agok to assess how they are progressing in their activities.
