The Minister of Physical Infrastructure on Tuesday consulted chiefs of Muok community on plans to construct feeder roads within Tonj town.
Teresa Awien Dal says the meeting was to alert Muok community to allow their land to be surveyed in 2018 dry season to ease making roads, Radio Don Bosco reports.
She reveals that building local roads at Akalkeu, Madol A and B residential areas about five to twelve kilo meters from Tonj Town will start soon.
Teresa pleads to chiefs to talk to their people because some of their houses may be demolished when the survey team starts its work on the ground.
She says people whose houses fall into the lines of the roads will be compensated with plots elsewhere.
Executive Chief of Muok community, Malok Akot, accepts the plan to survey the land and construct roads.
