The Association for Media Development in South Sudan or AMDISS on Wednesday trained fifteen journalists on peace reporting and reconciliation in Tonj.
Consultant Josephine Achiro says the situation in South Sudan today needs a language of peace, dialogue and reconciliation, Radio Don Bosco reports.
She adds that we need to improve the content of reporting as community radio stations.
Director of Radio Don Bosco Fr Leo Arokiathan appreciates ADMISS team and asks for more training to enrich the staff.
He urges the journalists to put what they learned into practice for the benefit of the community.
Participant Angelo Gbai says he learnt that impartial reporting and balancing of stories during the workshop.
