UNMISS trains organizations on conflict management in Rumbek

The United Nations Mission in South Sudan, or UNMISS Civil Affairs Division, has on Friday trained over twenty civil society organizations on conflict management in Rumbek.
 
John Oziegbe, is UNMISS Acting Head Field Officer in Lakes, Radio Good News reports.
 
He says the training aims at strengthening civil society organizations to address issues facing communities.
 
Isaac Majier Majok is the Chairperson of Rumbek Civil Society Organizations Network.
 
He urges UNMISS and partners to build the capacity of the organizations.
 
Deputy Speaker Chol Kutwell Manhom also applauds UNMISS Civil Affairs Division, national organizations and civil society network for supporting peace initiative in the state.
 
The one day workshop aims at strengthening the working relations between UNMISS and civil society organizations to address conflicts and promote reconciliations in Lakes States.
